Lottery School Application Deadline Dec. 5 The deadline to apply for a seat in one of Metro's magnet or lottery schools for the 2009-2010 school year is Friday, Dec. 5. No applications from current MNPS students will be accepted after this deadline. The lottery is scheduled Jan. 10, 2009. Click here for more information. New Student Assignment Plan Takes Effect 2009-2010 The New Student Assignment Plan, approved by the Metro Nashville Board of Education in July 2008, takes effect in the fall of 2009. Registration Open for Winter Aquatics Camp MNPS Aquatics Winter Day Camp is a 7-day program held during the winter break for boys and girls currently in grades K-8. Students will participate in swimming activities at our indoor pool, arts & crafts, indoor games & activities, and much more. For more information, click here.
Schools Honored at the 2008 Apple Award Ceremony Apple Awards are presented each year by the Nashville Chamber of Commerce to schools that meet benchmarks mandated under No Child Left Behind.
